With over 1.48 million fully electric vehicles (EVs) now on UK roads, Cleevely Group has announced the upcoming dates for its highly popular At Ease With EV training courses.
Technicians with IMI Level 2, 3, or 4 EV qualifications can now secure their spot for the upcoming sessions, taking place on Saturday 14th June and Saturday 4th October.
These exclusive training sessions provide hands-on experience and expert-led guidance, equipping participants with the skills and confidence needed to meet the growing demand for EV servicing and repairs.
“The hands-on approach and expert insight make all the difference,” said Matt Cleevely, founder of Cleevely EV. “Technicians leave the course feeling more confident and ready to tackle real-world EV challenges, from battery testing to solving complex charging issues.”
Held at the award-winning Cleevely EV workshop in Cheltenham, the At Ease With EV course offers participants direct training from Matt Cleevely and renowned technical trainer Alistair Finch. With practical sessions on high-voltage battery testing, working with interlocks, and an in-depth look at Tesla’s service mode, this course provides technicians with exclusive insights to excel in EV servicing and repairs.
By the end of March 2025, fully electric vehicles (EVs) accounted for 20.7 per cent of all new car registrations in the UK, with 120,191 new EVs sold – a 35,877-unit increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The surge is part of a broader trend, as 381,970 fully electric cars were sold in 2024, representing 19.6 per cent of all new cars registered. The 21 per cent year-on-year rise in EV sales in 2024, coupled with continued growth in 2025, signals a rapidly expanding market and a growing demand for EV servicing.
At Ease With EV training places are limited, and with growing demand for EV expertise, technicians are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. The course is priced at £295 + VAT per delegate, with lunch, refreshments, and a CPD certificate included.
