Impression Communications is sponsoring the Severn Valley Trail Run, a running event taking place within the Severn Valley Country Park, Shropshire, to continue its commitment to supporting local communities.

The award-winning automotive aftermarket PR agency, which celebrates its ten-year anniversary this year, will have its branding on display for both the five-kilometre and ten-kilometre running event, which returns in September for the first time since the pandemic.

Hayley Evans, account director at Impression, said: “It’s great to support local events and causes – especially running events that bring such positive physical and mental health benefits. It’s fantastic to see the Severn Valley Trail Run return after a two-year absence with runners able to take to the trails of the country park in stunning scenery.”

The Severn Valley Country Park opened in 1992 on the site of the former colliery that closed in 1969. The Shropshire Council-operated Park is hosting the event on Sunday 18th September with all runners completing the race receiving a special 30th anniversary commemorative medal.

Edward Andrews, country parks and heritage sites manager at Shropshire Council, said: “The Severn Valley Trail Run is a jewel in the crown for events at the Country Park and we’re delighted to be returning after the pandemic. We’re very grateful for sponsorship from Impression as it enables us to deliver improvements and further events at the park.”
The run is one of the most picturesque and interesting off-road runs in the Midlands, taking runners through woodlands, meadows and along the banks of the River Severn.
