PR and Marketing company is voted ‘Industry Partner of the Year’

Automotive public relations and marketing agency, Chicane, which has been serving the industry for more than 21 years is delighted to have scooped the coveted ‘Industry Partner of the Year’ Award, as voted for by its peers and the industry in general.

Chicane specialises in the automotive aftermarket and represents a portfolio of companies that includes several household names, as well as a number of emerging brands and firms. The business also represents PR clients outside the aftermarket, including a number of sporting teams, and clients in the insurance, vehicle rental, motorsport, agricultural, plant and charity sectors.

Chicane was up against tough opposition for the award: the Independent Garage Association, the IAAF (Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation) and insurance company Hugh J Boswell – all of which have large membership and client lists.

The Chicane team, based just outside London in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, consists of Gary Barak, Simon Maurice, Steve Coombes, Mary-Jane Coombes and Donna Clapp.

Chicane Director, Gary Barak, said: “We are so delighted, very pleasantly surprised and humbled with this award, and as we were up against such established businesses. We are very proud of our reputation and the service and support we give to our clients, but from a numbers perspective we really didn’t expect to win! So, we are thrilled to bits and would like to thank every single person who voted for us. It’s a remarkable award and one we’re honoured to accept.”

“Everyone at Chicane is really passionate about the industry we serve and the work we do” enthused Chicane MD , Simon Maurice. “Hopefully, this passion shines through in the level of service we offer and the quality of work we present. That’s why winning this award really means so much to us.”

Fellow Director Steve Coombes added, “It’s been a tough year for the aftermarket and the world in general and during that time, we were dedicated to ensuring our clients continued to get their messages out there and we feel like we’re getting back to as close to normal as an industry as we can expect, which is really good to see. Since the start of this year, we’ve welcomed several new clients to our client portfolio, we continue to grow and excited to see what the future brings for us!”
