Autoelectro is delighted to welcome John Cosgrove to the position of business development executive. He is working with the remanufacturer’s leadership team and tasked with engaging with its customer network and identify new opportunities.

Formerly a purchasing manager of AMK Automotive Components, before immersing himself in different roles and industries, John has returned to the automotive aftermarket motivated and enthusiastic to support the company’s founding principles of quality, range, availability and customer service.

He said: “I think Autoelectro’s capabilities, as one of the few remaining remanufacturers of rotating electrics, provides our customer base with a broad and unique portfolio of product.

“One of my goals is to work alongside our customers, to grow and expand on the awareness of the products and services we offer. I will be visiting them, informing them of the depth of our range and offers, and act as a proud brand ambassador at industry events.”

Autoelectro is a business steeped in legacy; the Bhogal family began the company back in 1986 and, with Harnek Bhogal joining the leadership team of Tony, Paul and Nicky, the remanufacturer is investing in the future.

That triumphant history and ambition to continue its success are just two of the reasons John jumped at the opportunity to make his mark on the company:

“Autoelectro is a business that I was very much aware of previously and admired whilst working in the automotive aftermarket. It is a company with strong values, a trusted brand name and a longstanding history.

“In my first few weeks, I have been very impressed with the efficiencies of the business and our focus on stock availability and technical support. The design and functionality of our website – – offers customers a fantastic facility to be able to manage their account, check on availability and price whilst accessing technical support for all products.”

While only in the job a few weeks, John has been encouraged by the “extremely positive” customer feedback, not just in terms of them meeting a new face, but Autoelectro’s availability across the pareto and ability to support with the more “exotic” applications.
