A1 ADAS Group has appointed experienced automotive aftermarket professional Ant Lunt as Regional Sales Manager as part of the continued expansion of its equipment division, A1 Diagnostic Solutions.
Lunt brings more than two decades of motor trade experience to the role, including extensive knowledge of wheel alignment, workshop equipment, diagnostics and MOT testing equipment. Based in the North West, he will primarily support customers across the North of England, working alongside Ant Yates, who will oversee the South.
The appointment forms part of a wider restructuring of A1’s sales operation as the business continues to invest in growing its equipment supply, installation, training and technical support offering.
Lunt said: “I’ve watched A1’s phenomenal growth with interest over the last few years and wanted to be part of it.
“What has always stood out to me is the trust the business has built with customers. It has an enviable reputation for customer service and for supporting people long after equipment has been installed.
“For me, it’s a real meeting of minds. I’ve always believed that if you look after customers properly, the sales take care of themselves. A1 shares those values. The focus isn’t on selling people the most expensive piece of equipment. It’s about understanding their business, recommending what’s right for them and helping them get the best return from that investment.
“Having spent years working with workshops and bodyshops, one of the biggest challenges I see is people being sold equipment that isn’t necessarily the right fit for their needs. Customers want honest advice, practical support and someone who understands how the equipment will actually be used in the workshop. That’s exactly the approach A1 takes.”
Adam Molloy, Operations Director at A1 ADAS Group, said: “Ant’s reputation within the industry speaks for itself. He brings a huge amount of experience, technical understanding and customer-focused thinking to the team.
“One of the first things he did after joining us was spend time with customers and visitors on our stand at the UKGBE. The feedback we received about him was exceptional and reinforced exactly why we wanted him to join the business.
“As we continue to expand A1 Diagnostic Solutions, appointments like this are important. Workshops and bodyshops are faced with more choice than ever when it comes to equipment investment, but not all advice is equal. Our role is to help customers make
informed decisions, invest in the right solution for their business and know they have ongoing support behind them long after the sale.”
A1 Diagnostic Solutions supplies and installs a wide range of workshop equipment, including diagnostics, ADAS calibration systems, wheel alignment, lifts, and tyre equipment, supported by technical training and aftersales support from a team actively involved in day-to-day workshop operations.
