The Garage Magazine is very proud to announce that we are principal sponsors of the Lex Stevens Kart Racing Team.

Lex started his karting career as an 8 year old at a birthday party organised by his father and soon demonstrated skills far beyond his age. Lex then progressed and started to compete in various indoor meetings topping leader boards and eventually winning races.
The next logical step was for Lex to start racing on outside tracks. It was at one of these meetings that Lex noticed a good many owner drivers who ran their own machinery which were much faster and stronger than the karts provided by the circuit. Lex’s dad spotted an almost new kart for sale and decided that, to give Lex the best opportunity to succeed, he had to buy it.

Lex now competes in the Senior Evo Max category racing a Tony Kart fitted with a Rotax 125 Senior Max Evo engine.
Paul Gregory Managing Director (Partnership Publishing) said “We are delighted to be supporting Lex in his quest to become a full time racing driver. Lex has demonstrated to us a real passion for his sport and a dedication to succeed rarely seen in young people today. We very much look forward to a fruitful partnership with Lex and wish him well for remainder of this season.”

Stuart Woolley Publication Manager “This is a brilliant opportunity for The Garage Magazine to support a local young man and be a part of his journey.
Lex Stevens (Kart Race Driver) I can’t thank Paul and his team enough for this level of support shown towards me. I won’t let you down. I also want to thank my other supporters, CarPlan, CarLube, Wrekin News and Wavian Jerry cans for the faith shown in me.”

The Garage brand logo will appear across the kart and also Lex’s race suit and helmet.
