Gloucester-based Forge Motorsport has announced the development and availability of an exciting new aftermarket product for the Toyota GR Supra (A90 platform from 2019>). The aesthetic appeal of the engine bay can now be enhanced with an attractive carbon fibre engine cover, which creates a crowning decoration for the powerful turbocharged straight six lying beneath.

The new Forge Motorsport carbon fibre engine cover was developed as a direct replacement for the original plastic cover, yet simultaneously engineered to work harmoniously alongside the boost pipes and strut braces already available from Forge for this increasingly popular application. Together, this trio of Forge products make a powerful statement when you lift the bonnet of the Supra.

Its asymmetric design echoes that of the original cover and the product slots straight into the standard mounting locations using the original rubber grommets. The exceptionally high quality carbon fibre displays a tight and even weave, which is produced through an autoclave process that uses a strong vacuum force to draw the raw material and resin across a billet alloy mould. Full contact is therefore made with the surface of the mould, creating a perfect distribution of material and the strongest possible result.

While the base carbon fibre material is impervious to the constant heat cycles of an engine, Forge has locked in that motorsport-inspired appearance with a lustrous clear coat. This surface finish adds extra shine, durability and protection from ultra violet light to ensure the product remains the highlight of the engine bay.

And just in case anybody feels the need to enhance the sensory experience, Forge Motorsport provides a microfibre bag/cleaning cloth and a complementary Meguiar’s Care Pouch in order to polish the surface and remove fingerprints.

Forge Motorsport is proud to offer a lifetime warranty on its entire range of tuner products, all of which are engineered and made in Britain.
